Portfolio Progress

In an effort to openly share the direction of my portfolio and my personal journey of developing passive income to achieve Financial Independence and to show God's love by financially assisting many worthy causes around the world, I have decided to add a "Portfolio Progress" page that will highlight the details of my portfolio's progression (and hopefully growth!) over the years.

In 2018 I have a passive income goal of $17,000.  I will post below my portfolio's passive income progress since the start of 2018 as they occur.

January 2018: $1012
February 2018: $985
March 2018: $1509

"Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal…"

2017 Review

2016 Review

In 2016 I had a monthly average of $736.  My total passive income received was $8,841.

Here is a chart showing my progress each month:

Remember, we are not 'regular' investors.  We are disciplined passive income and dividend growth investors.  We avoid the headache (as illustrated below) by choosing high quality dividend growing companies and rental properties and holding them throughout the ups and downs....i.e. (most of the time) we choose to hold them forever...

I will continue to add to and update this page once a month.

Please comment below if you have any thoughts!

  1. Nice job with your passive income. Even if you don't meet your goal don't give up you will get there eventually. No need to be a fast runner. Slow and steady and persistence wins this race.
